It’s been thirty years since the war between the nations of humans and elves ended, and to ensure peace, the elven king has offered up his surly younger brother, Prince Androel, as a candidate for a marriage alliance. His reluctant other half? Theodosia, the daughter of the second queen, beloved by her royal siblings but still a commoner struggling to fit into the role of a quiet, obedient wife.
